Starts the engine from outside the vehicle by using the Remote Keyless Entry key fob.
Features a targeted range of approximately 91 metres (300 feet).
Operates when the vehicle is locked and the transmission is in Park.
Upon starting, the vehicle remains in Remote Start mode for 15 minutes, after which it shuts down.

SmartBeam™ provides automatic variable high-beam adjustment in response to ambient light and surrounding traffic, requiring no driver interaction.

The Tire Pressure Monitoring System monitors individual tire pressures for all four tires on the ground and warns if pressure is higher or lower than preset ranges.
A warning system with warning lamp, and a display system with real-time display of the status of all four tires within the Electronic Vehicle Information Centre (EVIC), offer added peace of mind, as well as better fuel economy, improved handling and a more comfortable ride due to properly inflated tires.

Four-wheel disc anti-lock brakes are equipped with electronic sensors that prevent wheel lockup, offering improved steering control under extreme braking and/or slippery conditions.

Electronic Roll Mitigation monitors the driver's steering wheel input and the speed of the vehicle to sense the potential for wheel lift, helping reduce the likelihood of a vehicle side rollover.
The system detects when the sudden build-up of lateral force during a severe turn or evasive manoeuvres can cause the vehicle to start to tip reducing the chance of a rollover in sudden manoeuvres and evasive events.
ERM applies the brakes and may reduce engine power to lessen the chance that wheel lift will occur, providing additional security and confidence by helping all four wheels remain solidly on the ground.

Trailer Sway Control activates stabilizing effects by using brake pressure on alternating wheels to help stabilize the vehicle's path and, if necessary, adjusts the electronic throttle to help bring the vehicle and trailer under control.
The Electronic Stability Program (ESP™) yaw sensor recognizes when there are alternating forces on the vehicle that aren't caused by steering input, reducing trailer sway and providing improved trailer stability.
The sway could be caused by strong wind gusts or an improperly loaded trailer.
