The Jeep Grand Cherokee is, and has been for a long time, one of the most coveted midsize SUVs in the country. Its status as one of the many legends currently offered by Jeep sets it apart from all of its would-be competition. This status, incidentally, was not given, it was earned.

Trailhawk Equals Ultimate Capability

What always impresses with the Jeep Grand Cherokee is how capable a vehicle it is. When it comes to off-roading, the ultimate iteration is the Trailhawk.
Most versions of the Grand Cherokee include Selec-Terrain Traction Management System with Auto, Snow, Sand, Mud and Rock settings, and of course the Trailhawk comes standard with this system. Trailhawk also features the Quadra-Drive II Four-Wheel-Drive (4WD) System.
Also part of the Trailhawk trim, other than the coveted Trail Rated badges, of course, is the Quadra-Lift air suspension system for, among other things, extra ground clearance when needed. The suspension’s abilities allow the Grand Cherokee to ford in up to 50 cm of water – hey, you never know…

Prepared for all Situations

As a truly capable off-roader, it is also prepared with a transfer case and underbody skid plate shields. With both Hill Descent Control and Selec-Speed Control, the Trailhawk will make short work of any and all adventures off the beaten path. In fact, Selec-Speed Control allows the driver to program a speed for crawling through both up and down some seriously steep grades through the steering wheel paddle shifters. As for Hill Descent, it can uniquely work even when the vehicle is in reverse. As we know, some of the best laid-out plans don’t always pan out. The Trailhawk trim will be there for you should that happen.
The Trailhawk package also includes, as standard, P265/60R18 All-Terrain tires mounted on unique 18-inch off-road aluminum wheels, specific leather/suede seats and many luxury features such as a 9-speaker Alpine premium audio system.
Speaking of luxury, the Trailhawk can be fitted with a Luxury Group that includes a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, Nappa leather seats, a power tilt and telescoping steering column, and more. The Trailhawk can be opulently capable.

Capable Power

One of the few decisions to be made when building a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk is selecting the powertrain. As standard, it is powered by the sophisticated 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 which can tow up to 2,812 kilograms (6,200 lb). The optional and very potent 5.7-litre HEMI V8, which produces 360 horsepower and 390 lb.-ft. of torque, can effortlessly tow up to 3,266 kilograms, or 7,200 lb.
