2021 Jeep Wrangler High Altitude: Class and Capabilities | Jeep Canada

THE 2021 JEEP WRANGLER HIGH ALTITUDE: WHERE CLASS MEETS CAPABILITIES

2021-03-03
We all know about how capable the 2021 Jeep Wrangler is when it comes to off-road trekking. It’s been the industry standard in that regard for decades.
Thing is, it’s to the point where the Wrangler appeals to a much broader array of people than it once did; some folks will off-road it first and foremost, but some may use it as a daily driver with a spot of off-roading here and there. For those who want to move their Wrangler up-market a little bit – but without sacrificing its capabilities – there’s this: The Wrangler High Altitude.

Premium Features in the 2021 Jeep Wrangler High Altitude

The High Altitude offers an array of premium features to compliment the Wrangler’s legendary status as an off-road star. There are 20” wheels, LED accented daytime running lamps, LED fog lamps and LED head- and taillamps. The wheels, meanwhile, are wrapped with Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza all-season tires which can claw at loose surfaces but are also quiet when on the road. Colour-wise, there are five to choose from: Bright White, Billet Silver Metallic, Granite Crystal Metallic and Snazzberry Pearl. It sounds great, but most importantly, in looks fan-bloody-tastic, and very unique not just in the Wrangler world, but in the car and light truck world in general.
A more high-class monochromatic look is achieved by painting the door handles, bumpers, fender flares, mirrors and hardtop the same colour as the rest of the body. There are some great touches that allow the High Altitude to keep its recognizable and classic Wrangler shape, but also bring it to a new level of luxury at the same time. They are subtle touches, but they do wonders to achieve that goal.
Inside, the seats are finished in quilted Nappa leather in either Black or Steel Grey, and there is also a black leather-wrapped steering wheel.
You also get a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, GPS Navigation, 8.5-inch touchscreen display, Alpine premium audio, Blind-spot Monitoring and ParkView rear backup camera with dynamic grid lines to make lining up your parking job that much easier.
Of course, in addition to all that, you get so many of the chassis and powertrain features that have always made the Wrangler a shining star. There are three engine choices (a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder, a 3.6L Pentastar V-6 or a 3.0L EcoDiesel V-6) Dana axles, 3.73 rear axle ratio, Off-Road Information Pages, 4-wheel disc brakes and an 8-speed TorqueFlite Auto transmission.
Those are all great features that anybody looking for a luxury vehicle will appreciate but when it comes to the Wrangler High Altitude, it’s those looks that will keep you coming back for more. We challenge any Wrangler High Altitude owner to walk away from their vehicle after parking without looking back over their shoulder; it’s a tough urge to resist, you can be sure about that.
